This year I’m in the business of raising money for Make-A-Wish. I’m an honoree as part of the 2018 Class of Women Inspiring Strength and Hope.
I’m fundraising in honor of Sully’s Wish.
Sully is battling acute lymphoid leukemia, a cancer of the white blood cells known as the most common form of childhood leukemia. His diagnosis shocked his parents, who visited the doctor after Sully seemed sluggish and sore for a few days. His leukemia required three years of tough treatments, and Sully is now in remission.
Sully loves listening to music, playing games and Legos, drawing, dancing, and all things Disney. His favorite movie is Star Wars.
Now, 7-year-old Sully wishes to travel with his family (Mom, Megan; Dad, Zach; and 4-year-old Harper) to Disney World. He’s looking forward to meeting his favorite Disney characters, swimming in the resort pool and visiting the ocean. This magical trip planned for April 2018 will be a celebration of the end of Sully’s cancer treatment and a bright future filled with hope, strength and joy. Your support and generosity help make wishes like Sullivan’s come true.
