My son, Kyanu Andresen has been diagnosed with complex partial epilepsy and currently has been seen by a local neurologist, although there is still no result to his condition. He is currently on four epilepsy medications that tigger his ability to walk and is in need of a wheelchair, yet I pay out-of-pocket fees to get the medical care my son is in need of in order to find a solution. I have left my trust in the hands of his current neurologist and still have not seen or heard any word of a better way to assist with his diagnosis. I am considering going another route to finding him a better way and that will be costly for me to relocate my family to Denver where there is a children hospital that has health professionals who have dealt and handled patients with my son’s same medical condition.
