Ever increasing forms of pollution, degrading standards and lack of healthy environment nowadays have pushed more than a billion people towards diseases, plagues etc. The poor, the homeless and the improvised bear the brunt with unaffordable and sky-high medical expenses in many hospitals and institutions. A chronic kidney disease is the worst form of infirmity that can happen to anybody. It refers to the failure of the kidneys in filtering waste and excess fluids from the blood and urine. At advanced levels, the toxic waste accumulates in the body parts. The disease if not treated extensively can lead to kidney failure requiring expensive artificial filtering (dialysis) or a kidney transplant for the person to survive. Treatment, although helps to a certain level, cannot cure this epidemic. More than 10% of the world’s population is affected by this and millions of poor humans die every year due to the sole reason of being poor.
