After being in the United States since age 10, I finally visited my native country Ghana, back in 2012. I was there not only to reunite with friends and family, but to do further inquiries on a project I wanted to embark on. My friends and I had pondered on this project, which was to help vulnerable children by building them up to be self sustaining, for about 3 years. Nonetheless, I was presented with bigger issues that surpassed my intention of helping children only.
